Hawai'i Equine Assisted Reflection & Therapy(HEART) Free "Teen Reflection" Workshop. HEART is looking for two teenagers to participate in this workshop Monday July 16th. You can get more information about the workshop by calling 561-4184. If you would like more information about the program, the website address is www.HeartHorses.com.

The Red Raider Report has been posted on the KHIS website. Go to the 'Parent' page and click on the Red Raider Report Newsletter in the 'Related Pages'.

Kids Tennis Lessons at Laie Park, $50 for 9 lessons. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 6-8 years at 3pm, 9-12 at 4pm.

        Kahuku High School is accepting applications for a Head Varsity Girls Volleyball, Head Blue Girls Volleyball, and Head JV Girls Volleyball Coach. Resumes will be accepted now through April 20th, 2012  or emailed to Gillian_yamagata@notes.k12.hi.us. Interviews will begin the week of April 23rd.

Summer Girls Water Polo: Girls grades 6-12 interested in playing water polo this summer, please sign up at BYUH Outreach Education.

NEXT YEAR'S A.P.U.S. HISTORY STUDENTS: The MANDATORY meeting for next year's A.P.U.S History students will be this Friday(May 18) during high school lunch in Mrs. Harney's room Y-205. The summer assignment is REQUIRED. So you need to get it! Some of you signed up and got teacher's signatures, yet your names weren't on the list. Please come to the meeting and check with your counselor to make sure you get enrolled in the class.

NEED 6-8 16/17 YEAR OLD SURFERS FOR JUNE 15-JULY 1 TV SHOW: Please see Mrs. K in W-202 if interested and for more info.

2012-13 SURFERS-NEED TO DO JUNIOR LIFEGUARDS DURING THE SUMMER: If you want to be on the surf team, you need to do junior lifeguard training. Sign up at www.myjuniorguards.com or come to W-202 for information.

MICHAEL'S GRADUATION SALE: Now until the end of the month, special graduation tee for $14.99, and 10% off all hoodies. Student stickers will be in by the end of the week. Stop by and pick up something for the grads of 2012.

ATHLETIC AWARDS NIGHT: Athletic Awards Night, in the cafe, Wednesday May 23, 6:00pm for all athletes and parents.

NEXT YEAR'S AP GOVERNMENT STUDENTS: There will be a meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd during high school lunch in coach Uila's room. If you are one of the lucky 30 studentd who made the cut, you will receive a letter from one of your AP teachers this year notifying you of it before the meeting. If you do not attend the meeting, your seat may be given to another student.

CURRENT JUNIORS CAN REQUEST HALF DAY FOR NEXT SEMESTER: If you would like to request half-day or modified schedule for next school year, please submit a formal letter of intent to Myra in ROOM Q-0. NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MAY 18th. A letter of intent is signed by your parent or guardian, and shows approval for the request and why you should be considered. Once the letter of intent is submitted, you will be given an application to fill out and you will need to obtain various signatures, along with the final approval by administration. The application is due no later than friday, May 25th(main office will be open). A note of caution... If you have 3 or more unexcused absences in the current semester, DON'T BOTHER APPLYING. The privilege of having a half day schedule is based on your demonstration of being a responsible citizen and student.
