If you are a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior in High School, now is the time to start preparing and thinking about college. A good college education can help you improve your quality of life. But the cost of education has increased 500% over the last 20 years and it continues to climb. In the near future, we will provide more resources that you can compile in your own personal portfolio such a community service hours, academic and athletic achievements, letters of recommendation, etc. It is very helpful to keep this information organized in one place as you prepare to apply for scholarships and apply for colleges. It is also very important that you keep track of deadlines for submitting applications. You may want to plan months in advance of certain deadlines, and take several ACT and SAT practices tests starting in the 9th grade if possible. Be sure you understand and complete the FAFSA application on time.
